Betty Wick
California artist Betty Wick is renowned for her whimsical, colorful sophisticated images that have won numerous awards and are collected world wide. Her numerous credits include contracts with The Ford Corporation, Warner Brother's Stores and Jonny Cat Corporation. She taught silkscreening with the traveling Andy Warhol Exhibit. Her illustrations have appeared in numerous publications including, The Boston Globe and The Washington Post. Children have taught me many valuable lessons over the years while teaching art at HancockCollege for Kids, The Creative Children's Project, and also volunteering in the public schools. Children have such a terrific sense of humor in their art which I have adapted to my own writing and illustrating. She has recently illustrated a series of colorful children's books with writer and husband Mike Stang. Betty lives in the beautiful wine country of Paso Robles, California
